another reality in front of my eyes

My first spiritual experience was very strange. I was about 14, sober, late at night at a party. We were sitting together in a dark room
when, all of a sudden, another reality appeared before my eyes. I couldn’t make sense of it. I was sitting in that room, the girl I’d been
flirting with right in front of me, and at the same time I saw a futuristic city in blue light. I moved through it as if flying. No beings, just
buildings upon buildings, an architecture unknown to me, not human. After the first amusement I tried to shake it off, but it wouldn’t
go away. At one point I got a little frightened that it would stay forever. After about 20 minutes it faded, and it never came back.
It was the first time my senses recorded something science struggles to describe, and so the journey began. And you?
